Spooking the Grouse

The 2018/2019 season was full of powder days. In February, I went splitboarding with some friends in Summit County, and we were rewarded with surfy pow turns. At the top of my line, I spooked a grouse out of the snow and it startled me. Luckily, I was able to enjoy some of the best powder turns I had this season. Days like this prove that life is worth living.

Atlantic Peak V Couloirs

On April 19, 2018, Pat Gephart and I summited Atlantic Peak and snowboarded down the V Couloirs. This was just over a week before my ankle surgery, and I was thankful to have such a great adventure before going under the knife. We were lucky to have great weather and snow conditions on this line. Overall, this was one of the highlights from the 2017/2018 season.

Arapahoe Basin Pow Day

The springtime in Colorado is often the snowiest. This short edit shows a few laps from Arapahoe Basin, in May. It was a great day with great friends, minimal crowds, and endless fresh lines. I am excited to ride the entire season and experience more pow days like this. All in all, “The Legend” delivered.
